The Chino Grinder has about 115 miles and about 8.200 ft of elevation (more distances available too) in a mix of gravel and pavement – roughly 70/30. Don‘t let the pavement fool you too choose to narrow tires. There are rough sections where it is easy to flat if not wearing proper rubber. Semi-fine treaded 40mm did the trick for us. It felt good to have the suspension and confidence inspiring geometry when hammering the descents.
